JAZZMI Festival: from 23rd October to 9th November

JAZZMI Festival is back, bringing smooth rhythms and vibrant energy to Milan! Running until November 9th, this citywide celebration of jazz fills theaters, clubs, and even unexpected spaces with performances from international stars and local talents alike. From classic jazz ensembles to experimental fusions and late-night jam sessions, there’s something for every kind of music lover. It’s not just about concerts, either — the festival also features talks, workshops, and community events that explore how jazz connects people and cultures. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just curious to experience something new, JAZZMI is the perfect excuse to get out, discover new sounds, and enjoy Milan’s creative side.

Bookcity Milano 2025: from 10th to 16th November

BookCity 2025, usually attended by dozens of creative writers, is set to return in full swing for its 14th edition. For a full week, November will provide the bookworms with several activities – meetings, presentations, multiple performances – all aiming to promote top literary works, varying in genres and historical periods. This year, the central concept of this cultural initiative is “the power of ideas”, most likely hinting at how BookCity will encourage dialogue on how ideas can question and inspire the exercise of power, on a daily basis.

“Appiani” – neoclassicism in Milan: from 23rd September to 11th January 2026

If you’re into art, history, or just cool stories about Milan’s past, the new exhibition “Appiani. Il Neoclassicismo a Milano” at Palazzo Reale is worth checking out. The exhibit dives into the world of Andrea Appiani, one of Milan’s most important painters from the late 1700s and early 1800s. It brings together over a hundred works from museums in Italy and abroad. Also shows how Appiani’s elegant portraits and grand murals captured the spirit of a city caught between Enlightenment ideas and Napoleonic glamour. One of the highlights is the recreation of his huge “Fasti di Napoleone” frescoes in the famous Sala delle Cariatidi. Which is a must-see for anyone curious about how art and politics shaped Milan’s identity two centuries ago.

Milano Games Week & Cartoomics: from 28th to 30th November

If video games, comics, cosplay, and pop culture are right up your alley, this year’s Milano Games Week, at Fiera Milano, in Rho, is the place to be. Here, you can dive into an abundance of activities. From hunt for rare merch, cosplay your favourite characters, exploring manga and anime, or test your skills in gaming arenas – to name a few. Every corner of the fair is a new adventure waiting to be uncovered. 

Of course, no energetic event like Milano Games Week is complete without a hub designated for meeting the most famous and beloved creators and streamers. Such is the space of Creators World. The festival will feature in their line-up legendary comic artists, and video game composers like Brian Michael Bendis, Hitoshi Sakimoto, C.B Cebulski. Plus many more icons you don’t want to miss.

EICMA: from 6th to 9th November

If you’re into motorcycles, design or just want a high-energy day out, check out EICMA in Milan this at Fiera Milano Rho. It’s the big global show for all things two-wheeled — bikes, scooters, gear, accessories — and a great spot to see what’s new in the industry. Tickets are already on sale online, often with early-bird deals (e.g., around €15) before prices go up. Whether you’re a student wanting inspiration, just love the sound of a roaring engine, or might want to check out the industry side of things — this event gives you a solid blend of entertainment, innovation and sheer moto-passion. Don’t forget: wear comfortable shoes, – it’s big – plan your transport, – easy access from the Milan centre – and perhaps leave a few hours open so you can really explore.

Milano Music Week: from 17th to 23rd November

Music lovers, get ready! Milan Music Week is set to make a splashing return, to transform the city into a dynamic, open-air stage. Where for one blasting week, musicians, singers, and industry professionals will fill Milan – and equally, the souls of its people – with rhythm and inspiration. The 2025 theme, “New Generations”, alludes to the new wave of young artists, aiming to redefine how music is created and experienced. Through Milan Music Week, they’re given a platform to do just that, whilst simultaneously promoting the sense of cultural connection through music – no matter its form or genre.

This year, the events of the festival will take place in a plethora of legendary venues, namely the Triennale di Milano, Casa degli Artisti, Palazzina Appiani, and more.
